We were so pleased with the Llanwenog ewes we bought earlier in the year that we had been planning to get some more. This weekend we went to Wales to buy six shearling ewes to add to the flock. They will be quarantined for two weeks before going out with the others which will give me time to teach them that when I turn up there is food on offer! With a bit of luck this will make them easier to move around when they are out in the fields. In a few weeks time they will be turned out with a ram and hopefully go on to produce some lovely lambs for us in the Spring.
